Villa Skrila is a family-run holiday home in Istria, created to blend local heritage, nature, and modern comfort for guests seeking an authentic Croatian experience.

This idyllic property carries our history: at the entrance stands a 40-year-old fig tree, and the surrounding olive trees — the same age — still produce the extra virgin olive oil that has been part of our family tradition for generations.

We invite you to experience true Istrian hospitality and enjoy moments at the stone table in front of the house.

This table, called “skrila” in the local Istrian dialect, is the heart of the property. Hand-carved by my grandfather in 1925 in a nearby village, it has welcomed family, friends, and travellers for decades — a place where stories were shared and memories created.
